Meme and Keeping Friends

I didn’t mean to appear that I ignored the last meme that MinnesotaMadness tagged me for; I was just trying to save it for when I was in the right frame of mind.  I guess that never happened, but I am still hoping. So, I am going ahead and doing this one right now, before I forget or get distracted by a shiny object in the corner…

4 jobs I’ve had:  PBX Operator and Front Desk Clerk at 3 hotels in New Orleans (front desk clerk is the more glamorous of the 2)  Retail sales and then co-manager, neither are glamorous just makes you hate people.

4 movies I could watch over and over: Center Stage (crappy movie, but I love the dancing. It is currently taking up space on my TiVo.) Interview with the Vampire (I was never one to pass up a good vampire movie.) Fried Green Tomatoes (I love Kathy Bates’ transformation in this movie and the story is just plain great.) and last, but not least The Devil Wears Prada (Hmmm…Don’t know what to say about this one, except I like it.)

4 TV shows I watch: Seinfeld ( The kids love it, too.  Sure some may say it is inappropriate, but I say you must look pass the surface of the show and look deeper.  There are lessons, like, race relations-the black and white cookie-how to handle adult situations-blame everyone else and make sure no one blames you-how to follow directions-the Soup Nazi-and do unto others how you would like them to do unto you-doesn’t anyone remember the series finale.), My Name is Earl (I am trying to learn about karma and how to stay on it’s good side.  So, it is really research.), CSI (Gore and blood without the nightmares.) and K-Ville (It is a great comedy.)  I watch tons more TV, but these are the ones I am not ashame to mention that I watch.

4 places I have lived: Aligers (suburb of New Orleans), Morgan City (don’t worry you never heard of it), Gretna (in Jefferson Parish, not techinally New Orleans, but a suburb of New Orleans) and Lakeview, before the storm (New Orleans neighborhood)

4 foods I love: Applebee’s mashed potatoes, meat, cookies (hell, any baked good will do) and pasta

4 favorite colors: black, blue, dark red, and slate blue

4 places I woud loved to be right now:  mouth open under an Icee machine, napping on the sofa, spa for a pedicure and the mall.

4 names I love but could/would not use for my children (I am changing this to names I love, but won’t be having any more kids so they are useless):  Evageline Ann (And don’t you dare call her Vagey, the nickname would be Evie), Emily (way over used), Porter (would never go with our last name) and anything that sounds good yelled out the back door (that is the way it is done down here in the Deep South).

I will tag Redneck Mommy to get her all riled up, NOLA just because, Waterfall Thoughts because she is new and should be thrown in the lake without warning.
